NEAT North East Arts Touring
North East Arts Touring
NEAT brings touring arts performances to venues all over North East Scotland. Some shows are organised by NEAT, but most are run by local arts promoters with our assistance. We support performances in theatres, village halls and other venues across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray and Angus.

NEAT
North East Arts Touring has been bringing professional touring performances to the North East of Scotland since 1985. We've helped to bring a wide range of shows - drama, dance and children's theatre - to halls, arts centres, schools, theatres and even outdoors!

Within this site, you will find details of each show, including what's coming soon and, for many of the performances, you can buy tickets online. Wherever you are in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire or Moray, there's bound to be a venue near you.

NEAT helps local arts promoters in the North East to bring shows to their venues. We can help village hall committees, arts organisations and other community groups with financial guarantees, advice and assistance. Please contact us for details of how you can join the NEAT network of local arts promoters and bring a show to your venue.

If you are a professional touring company who would like to come to the North East, we may be able to help you by circulating information about your future tours to promoters in the area. We do not operate to any deadlines during the year or 'menus' like some of the English rural touring schemes. Please contact us with details of your show, including a brief description of the work (eg target age range and style of performance), a brief background of the company, technical requirements, proposed tour dates, fees, images (reasonable file sizes please if sent by e-mail), your contact details and any other information you think we may require. NEAT currently tends not to support musical performances except as part of a dance or theatre show.

NEAT is a member of the National Rural Touring Forum and is part of the Scottish National Theatre Community.

NEAT is supported by the Scottish Arts Council, Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire Council and Moray Council.
