The Government Inspector by Nikolai Gogol

The Government Inspector by Nikolai Gogol
by Communicado
The Government Inspector is one of the world's most famous plays. Written in 1835, and set in Tsarist Russia, it is a classic satire on human vanity. By turns hilarious and vicious in its expose of corruption among those in power, this masterpiece seems made for the times we live in now...

The Uninvited is a story of two men waking up in a cell in an eastern European mental asylum, one whom starts trying to piece together the reason he's there, unaware that he and his cell-mate are same person. It's a story with a dark heart, told with innocence, love, brutality, comedy, surrealism and break-neck dialogue, where, in the end, an unlikely redemption is allowed to find a voice.
